LOCAL 1224 is the union that covers Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.

This local union is affiliated with Pennsylvania Public Employees Council 13 and Dauphin County, Pennsylvania Public Employees District Council 90 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees; the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO; and the Harrisburg Region Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

The mission of LOCAL 1224 is to carry out, on a local basis, the objectives of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
